A.V. Andrew
A.V.Andrew is a former IT professional who successfully transitioned to project management and is now a highly skilled programme management expert working in international development for multilateral organizations in many parts of the world. For Andrea, changing careers meant a complete academic overhaul, moving from a BA (Hons) in Business Computing from Teesside University to an MSc in Strategic Project Management from Anglia Ruskin University.
Andrea is super ambitious and loves toggling between worlds. As an island girl, Andrea enjoys a tropical climate most of the year but also likes to get away for a white Christmas every now and then. She seamlessly blends and shifts between different dimensions, whether it is IT and Project Management or sandals and boots.
She is a professional, an author, a phenomenal wife to a wonderful husband, an amazing mother to an exceptional son and a dedicated caregiver to a great dad.
She loves new experiences and unwinding with friends. Her life’s mantra is that you can be anything in this world with hard work and determination but the best thing you can be is kind.
Her ability to balance both worlds is a testimony that you can have a career and a family and relish every moment. She wants to inspire and help others to do the same. Life is a journey, and we are meant to consciously enjoy the ride.

"This book has been the most insightful and empowering book I have read in a while. In the professional world, where people keep their hiccups and mistakes close to their hearts, this book provides a very realistic depiction of career experiences that are more common than we think, but people just choose not to talk about them. It's extremely relatable and offers unique insight on how to address those challenges should they manifest. Very current! Very necessary!"
